The Easter Saturday Green Fair at St John’s Hall Penzance provided something for everyone. Whether visitors wanted a book for the beach, information on bees or a slice of vegan simnel cake, it was all there.
Nearly 400 people visited the ever-popular event between 10.00 and 3.00, despite the perfect weather.
As well as old favourites, the Fair attracted new exhibitors for this year including Penwith Landscape Partnership, Project Q housing community, Wheal Buzzy solitary bee project, and Heart of the Woods forest school.
Visitors could also take the opportunity to fill in a Green Party survey and meet a Euro election candidate, enjoy lunch courtesy of the Country Market team, or take a close-up look at the Cornish Culture Association’s famous ‘Oss’ Pen Hood.
There was also a range of music on offer, from Privy Chamber, Western Wynd and –for those who like something a little louder – Penzamba and the Raffidy Dumitz Band.
